Bio

KHALYSIS is the new name for LIV’n’G, after the sisters, Olivia & Georgia took advice from the music industry (including Dave Stewart - Eurythmics) about their styling, branding and sound.  Pronounced ‘Kal’–‘ee’–‘Sis’ it is derived from several different words in various languages for the likes of Queen, Warrior, Powerful and Loving.

Olivia & Georgia have always championed female songwriters and performers, as well as other roles within the music industry, and far beyond, in all aspects of life, and the new name ‘KHALYSIS’ reflects this belief.

Georgia produces all the duo’s tracks and is something of a virtuoso, she is entirely self-taught and has played to crowds varying between 5,000 and 30,000 at events for TFM Radio and Metro FM.

Olivia on vocals is just as accomplished. With an impressive range and a soulful tone, she invites comparisons with current artists such as Zara Larson and Demi Lovato.

Their Tropical/Pop tracks are unique and would easily slot into any music chart in the world.

The last few years have been a whirlwind for 2 sisters, from having a number 4 in the UK Official UK Charts with ‘Smile for Bradley’, to supporting BBC The Voice Winner Kevin Simm, X Factor favourites Union J, Sam Lavery, Joey Devries and Rebecca Ferguson, the legends that are The Vegaboys and Alexander O'Neal; to recording a number of tracks professionally a number of tracks which have been mixed and mastered in London and LA.

Their  Debut EP 'SHADES' is available now on all download and streaming sites; ‘SHADES’ boasts an underlying message of empowerment. Equally adept at conjuring up immediately catchy electro-pop and sultry ballads, KHALYSIS are in the game for the long haul. This is an act whose personality is every bit as infectious as their dance-pop hooks, and audiences far beyond their native Hartlepool absolutely loving their idiosyncratic northern charm.

Watch out for them in 2019 at Festivals, Prides and Venues near you!
